In 2018 I had the privilege of going to Costa Rica twice in one year. In the spring, I joined Kim Miller for a birding tour of several ecological and geographic regions - it was amazing! In the fall, I traveled there for a veterinary medical conference (on feline medicine), and every spare second I wasn’t in lectures, I was mostly out around the grounds trying to photograph birds.
